By containing the most evocative subject matter of the films within another layer of equally evocative and tangentially related subject matter, the viewer is engaged to explore the topic further.

The poster series visually explores shifts in the viewer's perspective - discerning the shape of a somewhat abstract object, defining the subject matter within and then exploring the literary context found within the headline.
The idea sprung from an insight relating to the absence of certain elements and characters within filmic adaptations of literary works. This can be related to the broader history of a character or even a significant character change (including omission).
